Dr. Cohen corrected my lumbar that was causing pain in my pelvic area, hips and legs. My legs were becoming weaker as time went on. He revised a previous L5-S1 fusion I had 5 years ago and fused L4 to it. I'm doing so much better and Dr. Cohen really cares about his patients. I also have treatment for scoliosis in the thoracic are. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen and High Point Hospital.
Dr. Max Cohen, MD is the president and founding physician of Spine and Scoliosis Center with offices in Greensboro and High Point NC. Dr. Cohen is a fellowship trained orthopaedic spine surgeon. His practice is limited to treatment and surgery of the adult and pediatric spine. Dr. Cohen believes spine care is best provided thru a multidisciplinary team approach. He works closely with other surgeons, physiatrist, physical therapist, and physician assistants to provide comprehensive state of the art spine care. His primary goal is to avoid surgery when at all possible. Yet, when all other treatment options have been exhausted he is extensively trained in surgical intervention ranging from simple minimally invasive microsurgical procedures to complex spinal reconstructive operations.
