I felt silly asking my primary about a test result I kept getting. He thought it was a good idea to follow up, so he referred me to this clinic. Again, I felt silly, it felt like a nothing to ask about, but I've seen the importance of preventative care lately. But sometimes, people treat you like a hypochondriac for asking.Dr. Vierthaler echoed my primary's sentiment in loud volume. It's better to check, and if we had missed something, it could've been bad. She never made me feel like I was overreacting, she took time to explain everything she was putting in my chart, she told me about every test she was ordering, and she clearly explained all of her goals and plans with our consult.I don't think she's just a rare doctor, I think she's a rare person. It's obvious it's important to her that her patients leave confident in what's happening with their care. If you're scared of what your appointment might entail, don't be. She'll take great care of you.
