When I first started going to Tulsa Pain the waiting room was packed. To be brutally honest, It was a free for all on pain meds. I was seeing people getting refills for fentanyl patches who from my observation had no business being on them. Scripts were handed out pretty freely. After about a year the pressure must of been mounting as they were putting everyone on buprenorphine sublingual film, probably to wean off hydrocodone. Like others said the staff was pretty rigid during this time. I surmise they were getting some push back from long term pain med users. The waiting room went from packed to barren. With all that said, Dr Martucci is an excellent procedure Dr. If you need injections, ablations, or stimulators I would totally trust Dr M to do the job right. Unfortunately, he's nearing retirement age and I would expect him to be retiring soon. When he retires we'll be losing one of the good ones!
