I met Dr. Tuma was at Providence Hospital, in 2014, when I was admitted for antibiotic treatment, and subsequent amputation of my right leg, below the knee. Dr. Tuma's gentle, calming demeanor, made me feel entirely comfortable with having such a traumatic and emotional event performed. Dr. Tuma addressed every concern I had, in a realistic and insightful way, and the outcome was very positive, in that I went through therapy with no apprehensions, and learned to walk again, thanks to him!
