I have never met Dr. Imig. But I called his office and left a message that I was seeking a psychiatrist with whom to continue my medication management for generalized anxiety disorder. Dr. Imig called back and left a message that he was not taking new patients at that time (December 2019). He added that if my condition was stable he suggested that I might continue my medication management with my primary care physician. This was a very thoughtful and helpful suggestion. He didn't have to be helpful this way, but he went out of his way to do what he could. Very few physicians think that way. I say that if you are a patient of Dr. Imig, then you are fortunate (apart from having a problem that requires psychiatric care! I hope you and Dr. Imig can get that under control!).
