These other reviews are based on bedside manner. Do you want to make your surgeon your BFF or do you want a surgeon who is highly skilled and is technically the best? Personally, I only care that my surgeon does an amazing job on my ankle. He spent 6 hours in surgery constructing nothing short of a masterpiece to fix my fracture and I couldn’t care less if he didn’t give me a hug afterwards. Most surgeons don’t have great people skills - they are too focused on the technical skill set required to actually fix your injury and get you a good outcome. For this, I am grateful.
