Dr. Zoland was referred to me by a doctor at HSS and I was told that he is the best, to trust no one else. I have been seeing him for months and he has been actively following my case for all of those months, checking in by phone or by text, not making me feel like an idiot for asking questions and not treating me like an old person worth dismissing. I am a triathlete and getting back into competing must be part of the plan. Dr. Zoland has not dismissed that crucial part of the core of my being. He is a surgeon but he has not yet recommended surgery trying alternatives first. At my last visit he recommended that I see another doctor to confirm next steps, which may include surgery. He called ahead. He provided information. The other doctor has also been wonderful. More importantly, Dr. Zoland has contacted the other doctor to actually collaborate. I have had other sports injuries and this the first time a full effort has been made to address the problem. I cannot thank him enough.
