Dr. Ackrell has been my ER doc the last 2 times I came in with an ileus. He had great bedside manner & took time to listen. Last time the SAMC ER was like a TV show as they're now a trauma hospital. I was on a stretcher in the ER hallway (NOT kidding!) & was so glad to see him. After hours of severe pain at home I was exhausted & he worked to find me space in the ER so I could have some privacy and try to rest until a room on the floor opened. The ER & floor staff are awesome too! Thanks Dr A!
