Dr Mendeszoon performed a ten-jet procedure on my Achilles tendon and he was extremely knowledgeable and caring he took time and answered all my questions I am very happy with the care I received and would recommend him to anyone

  • Dr Mendeszoon is a multi board certified podiatrist who treats all surgical and non surgical conditions of the leg ankle and foot in both adults and children He specializes in trauma sports medicine diabetic foot and ankle conditions and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including Total Ankle Joint Replacement Surgery Dr Mendeszoon graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine with honors and completed his surgical training at Harvard Medical School New England Deaconess Hospital Joslin Diabetes Center He then completed an orthopedic lower extremity ankle foot surgical fellowship He continues to be active academically as the director of the Advanced Foot And Ankle Fellowship with University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center clinical professor at Ohio University Heritage medical school and adjunct faculty at Kent State University School of Podiatric Medicine He lectures nationally and internationally and is published in several medical journals As an athlete Dr Mendeszoon received All State honors in track field during high school and was a four year scholarship student athlete at Miami University where he competed in the 400 hurdles 800 meters and relays He continued to compete post collegiately for several years until he began his coaching career at Stony Brook University and the University of Pennsylvania He currently coaches at Chardon High School and is the Director of the Maple Leaf Track Club Dr Mendeszoon is a consultant with the University of Akron Track Field Team as well as Spire Institute s Track Field program In addition he serves as a team physician for several high schools in Geauga County Known as Doc to his athletes and the running community Dr Mendeszoon has worked with athletes of all ages including All State State Champions All Americans National Champions and Olympians
