Davis-Lorton, who has lived in Westchester County for nearly 20 years, received his undergraduate degree from Bennington College in Vermont, then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He went on to serve his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Samuel Bronfman Department of Medicine at the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and received his fellowship training in Clinical Immunology and Allergy from the Jeffrey Modell Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, also at Mt. Sinai.Dr. Davis-Lorton has served adult and pediatric patients alike as Director of Clinical Immunology Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at NYU Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. He has concurrently served as Investigator at Winthrop's Clinical Trials Center as well as the Immunology Section Editor for Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Pulmonology.In addition to the above, he serves as an Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine at the State University of New York, Stony Brook School of Medicine, and was a Clinical Instructor at the Department of Emergency Medicine at Mt. Sinai as well as a teaching assistant at that academic center.Dr. Davis-Lorton is licensed by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency, and has been certified a Diplomate by the American Board of Allergy & Clinical Immunology, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National board of Medical Examiners.His clinical research in the area of angioedema is renowned, and-moving forward-he will continue to serve the needs of Long Island patients, several Saturdays a quarter, at ENTA's Garden City office.Dr. Davis-Lorton is a member of the Hereditary Angioedema Association Scientific Advisory Board.
