I had Mark as my dentist since about 1995 when I moved to north Scottsdale, and he was absolutely marvelous. When I first visited him, he told me about his interest in evolving dentistry and wanting to instruct others. I felt that he was always cautious about what treatments he suggested, although he often suggested veneers to deal with a broken central incisor that had been backed with a gold three-quarter crown since I was in my teens; he always deferred. And he always had this great and warm smile. I was disappointed to learn that his Covid diagnosis had required him to get a double lung transplant a few years back, and I never saw him again. While Megan Peterson Boyle and her new partner Robert Koch are carrying on his Dental Studio 101 practice, in sync with what Mark did, I will miss him, his ever-present smile, and his warmth.
