We have seen Dr. Lopez Pena for the past 6 months for my sons recent JIA diagnosis and I am so so so grateful that we ended up with her as our doctor. She is such a caring woman, and has provided our family such a warmth and comfort that you rarely find in the medical world. She is a gem. I came in a blubbering mess on our first visit, so sad and scared for my son, and she was so lovely to let me cry and share my fears. She reassured us that he would be okay and has respected our approach of wanting to avoid harsh medications if possible. So far we have done that and my son is inflammation free and doing incredible. truly so thankful for Dr. Lopez
