Pain not only affects the body, but also the mind and well-being of the person. Dr. Cohen takes advantage of the latest therapies in pain management to help his patients the fastest road to recovery in conjunction with physical therapy and wellness. Dr. Cohen completed his training in anesthesiology where he became versed in treating post-surgical pain. He continued his training in pain medicine from one of the foremost fellowships in the country at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Here he learned cutting-edge techniques for treating pain which he uses on a daily basis to treat common problems to exotic and unusual pain syndromes that are the most difficult to manage such as CRPS. He has published several high impact articles and chapters in textbooks in his field. Dr. Cohen is proficient in multiple procedures including trigger point injections, joint injections, steroid epidurals, PRP, spinal stimulation, nerve blocks, and headache management.
