We, (my husband and I) describe Dr. Kamdar as being “light”, a warm and comforting light which was so welcoming during that dark and terrifying period in which my husband was first diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. She was honest, upfront, and very clear about the treatment process. Although we had several appointments in which his progress wasn’t what we’d hoped for, she was always optimistic. Dr. Kamdar has far more knowledge and expertise than any doctor I’ve ever known and we had absolute full confidence in her abilities. If Dr. Kamdar can’t treat the disease, nobody can, was, is and will always be our opinion. Her bedside manner, which many brilliant doctors lack, was professional while being warm and caring. This made a huge difference in the overall experience of treating my husbands Lymphoma. For over a year, after leaving Denver, we drove from AZ to Denver so that he could keep Dr. Kamdar as his physician. Should the need ever arise, he would drive any distance again.
