Dr. Aamer truly cares about his patients. I talk to him and he listens to me. He always goes beyond what I expect of him. Without a doubt he has my best interest at heart and it shows at every appointment. Before going to see Dr. Aamer the first time, I read reviews to get an idea of his relationship with his patients. My cardiologist recommended him. Some of the reviews were terrible, but I went with an open mind. What a wonderful surprise when I found this compassionate, intelligent, thorough Doctor. I am moving to Alabama and I just pray I can find a Nephrologist as special as Dr. Aamer. He was my Doctor and became my friend.

Dr. Aamer treats patient with kidney disease, dialysis, transplant, uncontrolled hypertension and other kidney related issues; from the patients whose condition is at an early stage, to the patients with kidney failure requiring transplantation and/or dialysis.
Not every patient he sees progresses to kidney failure. He will learn as much as he can about your particular kidney problem, explain it to you and either treat you to correct the problem or help you maintain your kidney function as long as possible. If most of your kidney function has already been lost then he will be to help you understand your options for managing kidney failure and to guide you through preparations for dialysis and/or transplant as you choose.
