About Me

Care Philosophy

  • Integrative medicine is focused on making the patient healthy and preventing illness in the future. Dr. Mielke's evolution from standard Psychiatry to Integrative Medicine was triggered by the onset of Autism in her son. Traditional medicine offers little help for Autism, so she began intensive training in Integrative Medicine. She first founded the Developmental Spectrums clinic specializing in the treatment of Autistic Spectrum Disorders, and then founded Optimal Health Spectrums to offer these services to others. Rather than just drugging symptoms, Dr. Mielke tests for the underlying causes of symptoms and treats the causes - such as nutritional or homonal deficiency, toxicity, or chronic infections - thereby improving the overall health and wellness of patients. Dr. Mielke has utilized these treatment methods for herself and her own family, so she understands how powerful this method is from the patient and doctor perspective. Your optimal wellness is her personal mission.
