Patient Reviews
Jul 14, 2016
Dr. Balsam put an aortic tissue valve in my heart in April 2014. She did an excellent job, as did everyone on the surgical staff. I have the highest regard for her surgical abilities (and also for her as a person) and would not hesitate to have her be my surgeon again. Anyone with the sort of valve problem I had would be very lucky to get her.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
