Millions of people are affected by vision problems and I am no exception: I watched my grandparents go blind from macular degeneration and diabetes, inspiring my life-long effort to advance the delivery of ophthalmic care. My vision of a team approach led to the establishment of the Moore Eye Institute in 1990, Since then, my colleagues and I have been successfully providing medical excellence, compassion and commitment in our efforts to preserve and restore sight.
