With the recent progress that has been made in pediatric cardiac surgery, we can now repair the vast majority of neonates, infants and children with congenital heart disease. In addition, those adults with repaired or unrepaired congenital heart disease represent a unique and growing population whose specific needs and physiology demand expertise in the field. We at Weill Cornell are dedicated to the delivery of unrivaled care for patients with congenital heart disease. I consider it a privilege to be a member of this team.
