About Me

Care Philosophy
  • It is my belief that access to  good medical care and mental health services should be provided to all citizens at an affordable cost. I am fortunate to practice with the "old fashioned" chance to take a little extra time to really listen and provide personalized care without the mounting pressures of managed care and major time constraints. This means the wait time for your appointment may be a bit longer, but clients can also feel they have been given enough time  to relate their current needs.

The most appropriate role of a physician should be to relate available treatment, risks, benefits, and respect a client's right to choose their course of care. Treatment seems to work best when a client is an active an deducated participant in their own care. Exceptions have to be made during times of high risk for the client or others, but the client's autonomy should be supported.

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams.
