Lawrence H. Cohn, MD, is a cardiac surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and served as the Chief of Cardiac Surgery from 1977-2004. Dr. Cohn is the Virginia and James Hubbard Professor of Cardiac Surgery at Harvard Medical School. A graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine, he is board certified in Surgery and Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Cohn’s clinical interests include mitral valve repair, minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve surgery, minimally invasive reoperative valve surgery, congenital heart disease and atrial septal defects, IHSS, cardiac tumors and thoracic aneurysms, and coronary artery disease.
