Dr. Fine's Background
Laura C. Fine, M.D. is an ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment of glaucoma and cataract. Dr. Fine is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. After earning her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Fine completed her internship in internal medicine and her residency in ophthalmology at University of California in San Francisco. She was then awarded the prestigious Heed Foundation Fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where her clinical research focused on new screening tools for the early detection of glaucoma. Dr. Fine is a clinical instructor in ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and a lecturer in ophthalmology at Tufts University School of Medicine, both in Boston.
