I was referred to Dr. Fakunle after years of issues with my blood sugar & illogical weight gain. My PCP had diagnosed me with type II diabetes. I'd just had a hip replacement due to severe arthritis. I'd suffered a lot of vague, seemingly unrelated symptoms. She took a thorough look at me, asking me lots of questions, & said - I want to get an MRI of your brain. I got the MRI. On our follow-up, it was a EUREKA moment. I had a pituitary tumor - I had acromegaly. It explained all of the symptoms I had been suffering with for YEARS. She referred me to a Neurosurgeon & an ENT & the tumor was removed. She has continued to do follow-up testing & even helping me with my blood pressure & weight loss. She is pleasant & listens to her patients, & makes sure I understand everything. I appreciate her so much! Can't recommend a better doctor. So grateful.
