As a child, my first experience with a Dentist was horrible and set the stage for my life-long disdain for all things dental. I learned to fear dentists and dentistry and that resulted in me not taking care of my teeth. Over the years, when I did go to a dentist, my experience was always frightening and never turned out positive, so eventually I just stopped going and then started having dental and health issues. When, at the age of 62, I was forced to see a dentist due to infections I love about 1/2 of my teeth. 12 years later - for the same reason, I lost the rest and had to see Dr. Ashlock for the sake of my health. He and his staff 'turned me around' with the care that they've given me. It's not that I know trust dentists - it's that I now have a dentist who I can work with and thereby 'trust' in my own way. The difference between my experience at 8 years of aga and now at 76 years of age is the difference between night and day and that's because of Lance Ashlock, DDS
