I had an injury while traveling overseas which required surgery. The ER in Malta had taken X-rays and casted me for my flight home. I called Dr. Vaughn’s office in advance, and emailed my X-rays and the radiology report. He squeezed me in the next day following my return to the U.S. and my surgery was scheduled that week. It was a difficult surgery, but he is an outstanding surgeon. I am non-weight bearing for six-eight weeks and he is checking me frequently to be sure it’s healing correctly. The most important thing is that he continues to ask how I am - and he doesn’t mean physically. He said he understands how this type of surgery completely disrupts your life. He assured me they are there 24/7 and I can call if I need anything. That is very rare to have a doctor care that much - it means the world to me. I do not believe there is a better podiatrist than Dr. Vaughn. A true professional!
