I joined IORA/One Medical when I got on Medicare almost 1 year ago. The practice is a little different than I've experienced in that there is a medical assistant who takes down all your notes first and then summarizes everything for you in a printout at the end, so that the doctor is not simply sitting and typing into a computer. She is able to focus on the patient. I have never had to wait long times after arriving. I did learn that when making the appointment, I need to specify whether I want to see the PA or the doctor, as the doctor often needs to be booked way in advance.
