Dr. Gumi is a marvelous doctor, his bedside manner is wonderful and he is very personable! I woke up in April of 2023 one morning with my chin pinned to the right side of my chest and not able to use my right arm whatsoever, I had no idea what was going on but we found out that I had a herniated disc, got an epidural and it went away for a bit. Several months later it came back with vengeance but on the opposite side, which was very odd. Went back into the doctor and got another epidural but it didn’t help at all, the medicine seemed to get trapped in my upper arm and elbow. I went in for the follow up visit and was told that I could try to keep getting epidurals every 3 months or have surgery, I am 37 and wanted to just stop hurting and use my left arm without pain. Monday, March 18th 2024 I went in for a disc replacement at C5 & C6, when I woke up I could use both my arms! It was a wonderful experience! I have recommended Dr. Gumi to everyone who asks! He is a definite 5 stars!
