Intelligent, articulate, personable come to mind when recommending Dr. Dyer. I had seen her in the past when I first moved to GA. She relocated her practice, I found another Dr., only to seek her out when I found other Doctors lacking in her skills.

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Dr. Jolson Tharakan is a board-certified family medicine physician. His care philosophy is patient-centered. His goal is to aide you in achieving your personal healthcare goals. He listens to his patients and respects their values in formulating a health plan. He encourages his patients to explore all possible healthcare treatments including lifestyle, naturopathic, and eastern philosophy medicine to improve their health. He is passionate about preventative medicine and chronic condition management. After completing Family Medicine Residency at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, he practiced in the Portland Metro Area where he was born and raised. After practicing in Oregon for several years, he practiced in southern Virginia as the sole physician at a start-up practice for 4 years. He then decided to move to Texas to be closer to his family. In his free time he enjoys hiking, white water rafting, listening to jazz music, and cooking.
