I have been a patient of Dr. Farhad for many years and I really like him. He’s one of the only physicians that have helped me. Communication between appointments via some of his staff however is terrible. Several are very argumentative and needlessly confrontational. Routinely I have difficulty renewing my long-term prescriptions with staff incorrectly saying he hasn’t been prescribing it or he never prescribed it (even when I send the literal label to them). Renewals are weeks late. Messages never reach the physician. On more than one occasion he told me to start a medication, it never was sent to the pharmacy, the staff argued with me and I went a year without ever receiving the medication until the next follow up. Another time staff did not obtain authorization for a test and then cancelled my appointment and told me my insurance denied it. I called my insurance and they never denied it. The physician seems unaware that this is happening routinely. Staff need more oversight.
