I am a 63 year old woman. I had a GI procedure (EGD) on 12.18.23 at Mid America Surgery Institute. Dr. Berger-Gillen was my anesthesiologist. She was very competent and kind, as was her assistant Emily. Dr. Berger-Gillen met me before the procedure and thoroughly explained everything to me, and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. She was very competent, respectful, and extremely kind.When you have a surgical procedure you generally don't get to choose your anesthesiologist, but I definitely would have chosen her! If you are fortunate enough to have her for your procedure, count it a blessing. She deserves 10 stars!
