I have had the true pleasure of working with Dr. Woo at Peacehealth St. Joseph Medical Center where she worked as an emergency trauma surgeon. When the patient needed a CT, she would accompany the patient to CT and watch the scan over our shoulders, so she could see immediately what was happening with the patient. I also had the privilege of seeing Dr. Woo as she cared for my friend with breast cancer - Dr. Woo was the surgeon who did her double mastectomy. I cannot imagine a more caring and competent physician. I went to multiple appointments with my friend and at every one Dr. Woo listened to her wishes, her concerns, and never made us feel rushed. We had seen a lot of post-mastectomy scars on the internet and were a bit worried, but my friend's were positively beautiful (as scars go). Dr. Woo even taped a little paper heart to the bandages. If I ever need any surgery that Dr. Woo does, that's who I want!
