Suffering a medical emergency can be terrifying and life threatening and that was my reality when suffering a brain stem stroke. Dr. Karen Porth provided exemplary care during this most difficult and harrowing time for me and was integral in my diagnosis and care in the very early days following my stroke. Dr. Porth’s brilliance, kindness and mastery of her field of medicine made my hospital stay one of hope and encouragement. Thank you, Dr. Porth!
