  • Dr Julian Sanchez is a colorectal surgeon in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is Associate Professor of Surgery and Associate Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is board certified in both general surgery and in colorectal surgery. Dr Sanchez's clinical interests include colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, high resolution anoscopy, genetic cancer syndromes, and minimally invasive surgery. His research centers on HPV infection and associated anal cancer. He is especially interested in the progression of anal dysplasia in immunosuppression and in screening programs for high risk patients.
