Patient Reviews
Jun 18, 2024
I was in a horrific motorcycle accident in May 2014, where my left ankle was completely shattered. EMS took me to St. John's Medical Center, and by my luck, I was fortunate to have Dr. Dumais as my attending trauma surgeon. Dr. Dumais and his team were able to keep me calm and surgically repair my ankle. Within eight months, I was back up and walking! The follow-up care with Dr. Dumais was excellent as he took the time to explain everything and talk with me as a person, not a number. Dr. Dumais gave me my career back in a very physically demanding job. I thank him daily for being on call during my time of need! Thank you!

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
