Imagine the fear & uncertainty you feel when you’re diagnosed with cancer. Your wish would to be treated by a world-class oncologist at a world-class hospital. That was exactly the care I received by Dr. Joshua Sasine at Cedars Sinai hospital. What impressed me most, was that he is well read and involved/aware of the latest studies and treatments to make me better. He is personally connected to cancer experts globally. In a kind, patient way, he thoroughly explained to me my cancer situation, the latest treatment options available, the treatment odds and likely longevity of each. He, together with the other experienced doctors on his Cedars Sinai team, my local oncologist and I, made a treatment plan just for me. It is working fabulously. Dr. Sasine, or another doctor from his team came to my private room every day to review my progress and tweak my meds depending on my “numbers”. I honestly felt enveloped by a wise and deeply caring crew, led by Dr. Sasine. Couldn’t have gone better!
