I went to the ER in August with extreme pain in my abdomen . Shortly after that I got a positive Cologuard result, right around the same time my cousin had died of colon cancer.I was first referred to another GI Dr. I had 3 appointments with him and never saw the Dr. once, the nurse didn't ever do vitals. My primary suggested Dr. Sumerset, I’m glad she did, In my office visit to him I actually was seen by him, the staff were very nice. My vitals were taken and because my pulse was still low and BP was high he wanted a follow up with my cardiologist before scheduling colonoscopy and endoscopy . Shortly after I was scheduled for the colonoscopy, I had never had a colonoscopy so under the circumstances I was anxious .It went very smoothly and the results were negative for colon cancer. A huge weight lifted. Now I will schedule the endoscopy. I have 100% confidence that I’m in the hands of a competent physician with over 2 decades experience. Thank you Dr. Sumerset.
