This was my initial appointment on a cardiologist referral due to a test result. I had a nightmare trying to make an appointment with HeartPlace Baylor, so I asked for another referral to Dr. Burak who saw a close friend of mine. What a wonderful experience that has been! From making the appointment, to attending the appointment to seeing the doctor and scheduling the next step, everything everyone has done a stellar job! I am so appreciative. They respect my time as much as I do theirs and they were ready to see me when I arrived. Dr. Burak is amazing too. He takes the time to make sure you understand what is going on with your heart and what the test are telling us. He is calming, empathetic, competent and skilled. I am thankful for Methodist Cardiovascular and particularly Dr. Burak.

Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear medicine with expertise in vascular imaging including carotid, arterial, and venous ultrasounds. He specializes in echocardiography and nuclear imaging studies. He routinely performs transesophageal echocardiography, diagnostic coronary angiography, radiofrequency and cyanoacrylate lower extremity venous ablations. At Methodist Richardson Medical Center, Dr Burak has served in several leadership positions, including chairman and vice chairman of internal medicine specialty and a member of the Corporate Credentialing Committee. He has also received numerous awards for excellent patient care.
