I began my patient/MD appointments with Dr Ernest at age 16. The most impressive thing was that he always did an office consultation where I was able to ask any questions or share any concerns with him in a comfortable situation. He listened to my heart as his comment was that if he was going to be my obgyn he would want to know my heart condition. He was the first Doctor to inform me of a heart murmur that later did affect me with my second child’s birth. He was the one who recognized the problem of post delivery congestive heart failure after hospital staff was going to send me home. He arranged for me to be treated 4 days after my daughter was born and was able to arrange for her to stay with me on the Heart floor!
