I am a healthy 41 year-old with no history of heart problems but walked into Good Samaritan with chest pains I had never felt before. I didn't think it was a big deal, maybe anxiety releated. Luckily Dr. Grueter and the rest of his team in the ER did not take my symptoms lightly and after a chest X-ray discovered I had an aortic dissection and without immediate surgery I was going to die. Thanks to his quick actions I was med flighted to Boston and feel very lucky to be alive. Thank you!
