DrGenovese is an exceptional clinician. Last spring I was experiencing head pain, jaw pain, lethargy, vision difficulties with an enlarged red ear and lung effusion (fluid). The large variety of physicians I consulted diagnosed Gerd, TMJ, Congestive Heart Failure and sleep apnea. With my pulmonary symptoms after some 4 months without diagnostic success I sought out Dr Genovese - he gave me a timely appointment. After the initial visit he ordered lung CTs, pulmonary lung capacity tests and reviewed my blood tests. On my second visit (a short time later) he discussed the tests and did an oral interview based on my symptoms and quickly diagnosed temporal vasculitis. This was critical - he directed me to a rheumatologist and started me on immediate high doses of prednisone. His timely diagnosis and prescient action was later determined to save my eyesight and significantly reduce kidney and pulmonary damage. Without his quick and competent diagnosis I may have suffered a fatal outcome.
