After much research and interviewing three different Orthopedic surgeons I decided on Dr. Davies. He didn't sugar coat anything and was very to the point. He specifically told me " I would not like him for the first six weeks". He explained everything and answered my sheet of questions. His staff was very organized and before I had my knee operated on, they made sure I knew everything I had to do before and after getting my knee done. Once I got my knee operated on, I was afraid to look at the scar. it was a lot smaller than I thought. I did exactly what Dr. Davies told me and got a bike. I did therapy 3x per week and exercised daily in between. I had a very good outcome. A knee replacement is only half the Dr. The other half has to come from the patient and a change in lifestyle. My first 6 weeks was painful, but now 2 months in it's starting to feel like my knee again. Thank you Dr. Davies for your excellent service.
