I was terrified to go to the dentist. It had been a VERY LONG WHILE that I had neglected dental care. Even if they are judging, they did not make me feel judged. Professional and kind. I was there to turn things around, & they were there to not only take care of it, but to give you the feeling they are in your corner and happy you took the step. The lady at the front desk is a wizard when it comes to insurance. In the end we elected to do scaling & fillings to spend up the Humana Medicare Advantage “straight cash” bundle by the end of the year. The procedure was painless (including the shots although I had an fearful reaction when I felt a couple seconds of discomfort—not pain). The procedure was fast & rather pleasant. Dr. Tucker & his assistant kept up the same attitude despite the fact he was caught going between 3 patients. Brilliant. I did think the scaling & root planning??? would be more in depth. I was in the chair for 1.25hours several fillings & scaling on one side only.
