Patient Reviews
Dec 19, 2023
I have had several procedures with Dr. Garber and I would highly recommend him. At each visit, he provides a lot of detail about your current status, any future treatment and will take the time to answer your questions. Dr. Garber's staff is great too. They respond quickly to questions and have also helped me with insurance and pharmacy issues.

About Me

Care Philosophy
  • Perhaps one of the more gratifying things in terms of what I do is cataract surgery Patients come in They don t see well Their quality of life is affected significantly maybe they can t read and pay their bills properly They can t read their own mail that they get They can t drive the car They can t function independently So a lot of times by doing cataract surgery we can restore their independence Years ago we used to patch the eye after cataract surgery and it was a very gratifying feeling when they come in you take the patch off and they re like Wow I can see again Nowadays because of the advances in the technology we tend not to patch the eye and they start seeing right when they get off the operating table What I try to tell my patients is that you have to tell me how bad the cataract is bothering you It s not my decision to tell you it s time to do surgery I can educate you whether I think it will be a significant benefit or a mild to moderate benefit but it s a decision that we make together to see how it will improve the quality of life

What’s a board certification and why is it important that my provider has one?

A board certification represents a provider’s dedication to ongoing training in one or more specialties, including the completion of intensive exams. While not all specialties have board certifications, if your provider does have one they’ve taken the extra step to master their specialty and to keep up with the latest advancements in their field.
