Dr. Gorek performed a 4 level ACDF neck fusion surgery on me in Jan. 2024. I’m 3 months post op now and I’m feeling better than I did before surgery. The pain in my arms has decreased dramatically and the weekly headaches I had for years before surgery have gone away. My leg strength is slowly returning as well. Recovery from this surgery is tough at times, but well worth it.Dr. Gorek is very thorough in his examination and helped me to set goals. He is an excellent surgeon and he has a lot of experience with spine surgeries. He has an excellent team of physician assistants, anesthesiologists, and hospital staff working with him.There are no guarantees with spine surgeries, but you will be in the best possible hands with Dr. Gorek and the staff at Kaiser Oakland.
