I was a patient of Dr. Jaffe in Rhode Island until she transferred to Arizona. I can only say I will always have her in my heart, I miss her dearly and unfortunately, til this day have not yet found another Doctor like her. She is the BEST!!!! I still til this day tell everyone how much I miss her.

- The passion and dedication of the staff here was apparent from my first visit says Dr Jordana Jaffee Chief of Medicine and Internal Medicine Physician at Cancer Treatment Centers of America CTCA Phoenix It is a privilege to work with such accomplished providers Born and raised in New York City Dr Jaffee attended Barnard College at Columbia University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology She completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at Cornell Medical College in 1996 During her medical training she was awarded both the David P Barr Summer Fellowship which she dedicated to pediatric cardiology research and the Cornell Alumni Association Overseas Fellowship providing medical care to underserved rural communities in South Africa Her postgraduate training included an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania She remained at this institution after completing her residency becoming Clinical Instructor and Hospitalist with the Department of Internal Medicine From 2000 to 2004 Dr Jaffee served as Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University Medical College providing primary care and attending as a Hospitalist with the Internal Medicine inpatient service Later as Medical Director at Summit Commons Nursing Home in Rhode Island Dr Jaffee supervised a large staff of physicians and oversaw patient care She spent nine years as a General Internal Medicine with a large medical practice in Rhode Island during which time she had an academic appointment at Brown University Medical College In her practice she provided medical care in a busy setting while also forwarding initiatives focused on the quality of care Driven by her wish to provide excellent patient centered care Dr Jaffee later became a concierge personal physician focused on prevention and treatment of chronic and acute illnesses also incorporating wellness and counseling services Accessible to her patients around the clock Dr Jaffee provided highly individualized care Dr Jaffee now brings her expertise and focus on patient centered care to CTCA which she joined in August 2015 CTCA is dedicated to delivering the best care science has to offer while never losing sight of the personal needs of the individual patient she says When she is not caring for patients Dr Jaffee enjoys spending time with her husband who is also a physician their four children and a mini schnauzer named Atticus She also plays tennis hikes and loves getting lost in a good book
