Surgery is not the first option that Dr Grabel gave me. For years the alternative treatments were effective. When they were no longer effective it was time for surgery. Prior to surgery I had a comprehensive list of questions for Dr Grabel. He answered them all and everything he said has proven to be correct. I had a fusion L3-L5 and a laminectomy. Prior to the surgery I could hardly walk due to the pain in my legs. Immediately after surgery all the pain that I was suffering in my legs was gone. The first 2 weeks were difficult. After that it was just rehab and healing.While I was in the hospital being prepped for surgery and immediately after surgery all of the nurses and practitioners that I spoke to said, 'Dr Grabel is your surgeon? He gets excellent results'! And they were right. I'm so grateful to Dr Grabel for his guidance through the years and the expertise and care he has given me. I also want to thank Dr Grabel's office staff for all the help that they have provided me.
