About Me

Care Philosophy

  • I am a Christian physician with Judeochristian values and a Biblical world view where God is in control. I have respect for what He created in His own image and have always considered it a privilege to care for fellow man, no matter who it is. While science continues to equip us with wonderful tools to diagnose and treat medical illness, there is much more to the healing process that includes the social, emotional, and spiritual well being of people. I try to pay attention to this in my holistic approach to patient care. Addressing multiple complex problems takes time which often gets me behind schedule, but patients seem willing to wait and realize the benefit. Much of my post graduate medical education has come from visits to the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions for yearly updates in internal medicine topics.
