  • Jonathan E Alpert, MD, PhD, graduated from Yale College summa cum laude with majors in psychology and philosophy and received his MD from Yale School of Medicine and a PhD in behavioral pharmacology from the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Cambridge on a Marshall Scholarship. Dr Alpert completed residency training in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital and in psychiatry at McLean Hospital. He held a number of leadership roles at the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry, including Associate Chief of Psychiatry, with responsibility over ambulatory, inpatient and emergency services.
