Dr. Church undoubtedly has the best bedside manner of ANY physician I have ever seen. I am a retired nurse that has worked side by side with innumerable doctors in physician's offices for thirty years. There are physicians that are unbelievably skilled and insanely intelligent but there are only a rare few that can combine those skills with true compassion, kindness and an incredible bedside manner. Dr. Church immediately put me at ease and took well over an hour with me at my first visit. When he says "start from the beginning" he means it. I have significant and severe spine issues and have a second spine surgery pending. My experience with physicians has been that they focus on their specialty only and that has become more and more the norm in these days of managed care. Not Dr. Church. I believe he sees the "whole" patient. I know I am in great hands and have full confidence that Dr. Church will do everything he can to help minimize my pain and optimize my life.
