I am both surprised and pleased to see Dr. Lockard is still in practise all these years later. I moved from Houston to Tulsa in 1984 already with braces on my teeth. I had to find a new orthodontist after I moved. I interviewed about 15 orthodontists. I wanted to be sure to choose the best orthodontist for me as I had to have all of the old brackets and wires removed and another style of brackets and wires put in as Tulsa orthodontists did not use the same hardware as Houston orthodontists. It was not something to which I looked forward and actually put it off for a solid year before I began interviewing. One of the last orthodontists I interviewed was John Lockard in Broken Arrow. I liked him immediately. He was a relaxed, pleasant, patient, articulate man with a charming sense of humour and a thriving practise.
